Many people who work in Ticino live across the border in the provinces of Como, Varese or Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and commute as frontalieri, others live in the canton itself. The employers are just as mixed: private banks in Lugano, fashion and logistics companies around Stabio, hospitals, municipalities, and grotti that hire for the summer.

- Which area does the board cover?
- The whole canton of Ticino, including its valleys. The Italian-speaking valleys of Graubünden, such as Mesolcina or Poschiavo, are not part of it.
- Are the jobs open to cross-border commuters?
- The listings are open to anyone. Living in Italy and working in Ticino requires a G permit, which is tied to a Swiss employment contract and requires returning home at least once a week.
- Is posting really free?
- Yes. A company in Lugano pays nothing, and neither does a family business in the Blenio valley. There is no subscription and no account.
- Do applications go through this site?
- No. The apply link in a posting opens the employer’s career page or gives their address, and the dossier is sent there directly.
- In which language are the postings?
- Mostly Italian, some in German. Each keeps its original language, and a translation into the language chosen on the site appears once it is ready.
- How does an employer take a posting down?
- Once the posting is confirmed, a further email brings a private link that stays valid for it. Opening it withdraws the ad, for example once the post is filled; it does not allow changes, so a corrected version is posted as a new ad.
