Network Planner, Client, Lines and Nodes Network Manager

What you can set in motion.

• You autonomously manage a geographical area (lines and nodes) as the network manager, client, and mandator of SBB Infrastructure projects.
• Taking into account aspects of railway operations and technical-construction aspects, you group infrastructural interventions into coherent projects that guarantee both economically efficient execution of works and customer satisfaction.
• You are responsible for the integral setting up of construction projects in the assigned sector and contribute decisively to the planning and management of the entire SBB Infrastructure project portfolio.
• In the role of internal client for SBB Infrastructure, you share the responsibility for achieving project objectives (financing, costs, quantities, deadlines). You manage requirements and changes and govern projects from assignment to testing and delivery.
• In ongoing projects, you represent the interests of the plant owners (Life Cycle Manager). Additionally, you conduct negotiations regarding contributions with third parties.

• You possess professional experience in related fields, for example as a multidisciplinary project manager, client in strategic plant management, in network development, or in the sectors of railway operations and scheduling.
• We presuppose a university degree or a degree from a professional university of applied sciences in engineering or business administration, or an equivalent training with adequate professional experience. Alternatively, you have several years of experience in the railway sector.
• You have German or Italian as your mother tongue and excellent knowledge of the other language, which allows you to communicate and negotiate effectively with the most diverse interlocutors.
