Engineer / Industrial Technician specialized in technical ceramics

You will be responsible for the development and support of production processes, with particular reference to CIP “Cold Isostatic Pressing” and CIM “Ceramic Injection Moulding” technologies, the plants, and the related equipment.

Main tasks

Your main tasks include:

• development, optimization and control of manufacturing processes
• definition and verification of technical and qualitative requirements and the related process parameters
• definition of KPIs and analysis of process performance
• drafting and updating of technical and process documentation
• technical support to production and analysis of problems and failures
• collaboration in preventive maintenance activities
• management of development projects for new ceramic components and processes
• interface with R&D, Production, Quality, Maintenance and with internal and external requesters.

Your qualifications for this position

• Technical education, preferably in Materials Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering
• experience or strong interest in technical ceramics manufacturing processes
• analytical and problem-solving skills
• aptitude for project management and interdisciplinary work

Knowledge of CIP/CIM processes, the related plants and the methodologies for process control and characterization constitutes a preferential qualification.
