Senior IT Project Manager

For a dynamic and growing reality, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the team.

Main responsibilities
--------------------------

• Manage complex IT projects in the Banking & Payments field, following their entire life cycle, from planning to delivery.
• Coordinate implementation and evolution projects of payment systems, with particular reference to SEPA, SIC Instant Payments, SWIFT and ISO 20022 standards.
• Plan and supervise Cutover Management, Release Management and Production Deployment activities.
• Coordinate technical, functional and business teams, ensuring effective collaboration between the various areas involved.
• Manage relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders, guaranteeing constant alignment on project objectives.
• Monitor progress, budget, timelines, risks and criticalities, defining any corrective actions.
• Supervise test activities, validation and preparation of production environments.
• Participate in digital transformation programs, application migration and modernization of IT infrastructures, also in the Cloud field.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements and operating procedures.

Required requirements
-------------------

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technical-scientific disciplines.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the banking and financial field.
• Solid knowledge of banking payment processes and platforms.
• Experience on SEPA, Instant Payments, SWIFT and ISO 20022 projects.
• Consolidated skills in Cutover Management, Release Management and management of production releases.
• Experience in coordinating international and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage budgets, suppliers, contracts and relations with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Good knowledge of the English language, at least level B2.

Technical skills

• Banking & Payments: SEPA, SIC, ISO 20022, SWIFT, Avaloq.
• Project & Delivery Management: Cutover, Release Management, Deployment and Testing Coordination.
• Tools: JIRA, Confluence, HPSM.
• Knowledge of application architectures, databases and enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Java, PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server technologies and Unix/Linux environments.
