Electronic Engineer / R&D Hardware Engineer (M/F/D)

Introduction

On behalf of one of our important clients based in the Locarnese area, we are looking for the following professional profile

Responsibilities

• Hardware design and development activities through the use of advanced engineering techniques
• Optimization and management of the product lifecycle, including modifications and improvements of functionality and performance, validation of alternative components and monitoring of End-of-Life components
• Validation of designs through calculations, simulations and bench tests
• Management of ECN (Engineering Change Notifications) and BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Preparation of technical documentation, reports and technical drawings
• Engineering support to production for existing product lines
• Failure analysis and Root Cause & Corrective Action Analysis (RCCA) activities

Profile

• Degree, Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience with electrical systems and complex power electronics systems
• Solid knowledge in the design of analog and digital electronic circuits, electrical schematics and simulation tools
• Experience in PCB design and in the selection of microelectronic components
• Advanced knowledge of PCB design tools such as Altium, Allegro or equivalent
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscope, function generators, current and voltage generators, power analyzers and other test equipment
• Deep knowledge of ECN, BOM and technical documentation systems
• Experience in failure investigations and RCCA analyses
• Knowledge of environmental, reliability and product safety requirements is a plus
• Experience with Agile methodology is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken
