Mechanical/thermotechnical Project Manager

Introduction

Do you have a degree in the energy/thermotechnical field, and previous experience in the development of a mechanical plant project in all its phases - from design to commissioning?

Do you have knowledge of piping, HVAC, and thermotechnical systems, preferably within the chemical/pharmaceutical sector?

Do you have excellent knowledge of the English language?

Responsibilities

• Order management: analysis of the technical content of the order and the offer, and planning of project activities, detailed engineering, site activities, and material procurement
• Quoting: execution of site visits at customer sites, drafting technical-economic proposals using spreadsheets and standard descriptive models
• Customer relationship management
• Researching the best supplier and technical solution based on cost analysis
• Design: drafting specifications, dimensioning equipment in accordance with current regulations, development of detailed engineering for mechanical plants
• Turnkey project management: aptitude for managing complex projects as a whole and managing various specialist companies in various sectors (e.g., HVAC, civil works, management of external design offices and/or consultants, pharmaceutical validation)
• Adaptability to follow (if necessary) electrical projects as well, with the technical collaboration of onsite technicians

Profile

• Degree in Thermotechnical and/or Energy Engineering, or in related disciplines
• Previous experience in plant design, preferably in the chemical/pharmaceutical sector
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 3D and Office package applications
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, knowledge of German will be a plus
• Knowledge of mechanical and thermo-hydraulic materials and equipment
• Knowledge of the main national and European regulations in the mechanical field
• Disposition for interpersonal relationships
• Ability to have an overview of the order and aptitude for project management
• Flexible hours and availability to work overtime during periods of intense workload
