Hotel Concierge

The employer is looking for a:

chief concierge (reported profession)

Tasks:

• offering exceptional and highly personalized service to guests by organizing experiences, transport, reservations, special requests, and exclusive moments with professionalism, efficiency, and discretion.
• acting as an ambassador for the Grand Hotel Locarno and the destination, providing curated and personalized recommendations in the fields of gastronomy, culture, shopping, wellness, nature, and local experiences with confidence and genuine enthusiasm.
• anticipating guest needs through careful observation, accurate communication, and constant monitoring, ensuring that every interaction is intuitive, seamless, and personalized.
• supporting VIP arrivals, special occasions, and guest preferences through meticulous preparation and strong attention to detail, guaranteeing a memorable and superior luxury experience.
• collaborating closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, transport service providers, and external partners to ensure impeccable management of all guest requests and arrangements.
• maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local events, seasonal attractions, reliable service providers, and exclusive opportunities, in order to always provide relevant and high-quality recommendations.
• managing guest issues, last-minute changes, and particular situations with diplomacy and a solution-oriented approach, always protecting the privacy and comfort of the guests.
• actively contributing to the development and refinement of concierge standards, local partnerships, and the hotel's distinctive experiences during the pre-opening and opening phases.

Requirements:

• previous experience in the sector of at least 3 years
• ability to work in a team
• predisposition for contact with clientele
• availability for shift work, Sunday work, and holiday work
• excellent knowledge of Italian, English, and German
